The TCSD Foundation is a tax-exempt not-for-profit corporation located in Trumansburg, NY organized in 2006 and operated by committed volunteers. Our mission is to
·         Enhance pre-K through 12 educational and extracurricular opportunities in the district
·         Forge partnerships with friends of the Trumansburg Central School District
·         Raise funds and award grants to foster personal growth and encourage excellence
Our efforts to date have resulted in tangible benefits in the form of grant awards exceeding $100,000 that have directly benefited Trumansburg Central School District students. In 2012, we awarded total grants exceeding $19,500 which allowed for the purchase of new technology and equipment, educational field trips and guest speakers, in addition to funding the Trumansburg Kids Explore & Discover (TKED) program. The TKED program takes all Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade students to a Discovery Trail site for a curriculum-based learning experience.
We have been working hard to make a difference in the education and individual development of the students in the Trumansburg Central School District. We thank our many generous supporters: parents, business partners, the Trumansburg Central School District, and community partners.
Please take some time to browse our site and find out more about who we are and what we do. We welcome your input and hope that you will consider participating in our mission to better the education and the lives of the young people of our community.
