Democracy in Chains, by Nancy MaClean, examines how the Radical Right Billionaire Class threatens  American life, the environment and our children’s future.

The book explores some dark and scary corridors of U.S. political history. It was published in 2017. It is a readable and well-researched. “Democracy…” traces the origins and expansion of America’s most extreme and powerful political right.
